After her dad's ship is hauled off by a sudden storm, then the spunky Pippi Longstocking is stranded with her horse, Alfonso,and her pet monkey, Mr. Neilson, also takes up residence inside the old home, which is thought by local children to be haunted. Two children, his sister Anika and Tommy, venture in to the house only to match Pippi. The three soon be friends and put in to various experiences together, for example cleaning a floor together with draining shoes, dodging the"splunks", moving down a whirlpool into barrels, also helping Pippi with all the problem of having to go to an orphanage. Children will probably get the absolute most out with the picture.
