Teen-ager Cameron is sent to a gay conversion therapy center after becoming caught with another girl in the back seat of a car on prom nighttime. Run by the strict and intense Dr. Lydia Marsh and also her husband, Reverend Rick, the center has been built up on repenting for"same sex appeal ." At the face of intolerance and denial, Cameron matches with a set of sinners including the stoner Jane, and her friend, the Lakota two spirit, Adam. This set of teenagers form an unlikely family because they fight to survive.
