His acclaimed actress wife and an acclaimed performer, that have been married for under a calendar year, are showing signs of stress within his or her marriage. The actor thinks his wife is capable of jealousy and sets out to prove this is so. Disguising himself as the type of man he believes she's fancies (a Russian military officer), the actor woos his wife while she believes him (her husband, that is) to be out of town. The actress shows every indication of succumbing to the"Russian's" advances, the husband could not quite place the stamp of certainty on her behaviour.
