For his son Tommy who disappeared from the border of the rain forest, engineer Bill Markham has hunted for 10 years. Miraculously, he finds the boy living among the reclusive Amazon tribe who adopted him. And that is when the adventure of Bill truly begins. Because of his son is an increased tribesman who moves through this beautiful-but-dangerous terrain, fearful only of the who would exploit it. And as Bill attempts to"rescue" him from the savagery of the untamed jungle, Tommy struggles Bill's notion of true culture along with his ideas about who needs rescuing.
