Team Umizoomi is an animated fantasy musical series that emphasizes mathematical topics for preschoolers, including counting, sequences, shapes, patterns, and comparisons. Mini superheroes Milli and Geo, a nice robot named Bot, and the child watching the show comprise the squad. Milli, Geo, and Bot refer to the young viewer as their "Umifriend" and encourage him or her to acquire "Mighty Math Powers!" The majority of the story takes place in and around Umi City, a vibrant metropolis with origami-inspired street patterns. Team Umizoomi is shown on both Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon in the United States. It is also accessible on iTunes. It made its debut on January 25, 2010.
