Larry Livingstone, the psychotherapist who divorced his model-wife three years ago, is ready for a new relationship. He falls in love with Beth, a young widow with two children, after meeting her at a party. However, Beth and the kids are still grieving the loss of their father and husband, and Larry has a hard time breaking through their defenses. Because he still cares about his two children and his ex-wife, Larry finds himself in a tough spot. Even though Beth and the children have been given a second chance, they realize they must move on with their lives.
