Zoey Hathaway has been working towards her lifelong goal to be a pilot for years, when she inherits a reindeer farm, along with the ranch hand Alec Wynn, but everything is thrown . In taking care of of the Christmas responsibilities and reindeer, buried, Zoey believes her blow has been given by life , and she isn't convinced about Alec, who has his own thoughts how things to run.
