A royal family scandal: the errant princess Barbara escaped from the palace and wandered into the forest in pursuit of a gorgeous prince. Rather than seeing her sweetheart, she is apprehended by Buka, the kingdom's most deadly bandit. However, it becomes evident very immediately that the swift princess is willing to turn Buka's life into a nightmare in order to accomplish her ambition. As a result, the restless Varvara begins imposing her own order on the forest.
