Kobayashi used to live by himself in an apartment, but Tooru showed up one day, and they wound up living together after that. Tooru considers humans to be inferior and foolish, but because Kobayashi-san saved her life, she owes her a debt of gratitude and helps her in any way she can, despite the fact that not everything goes according to plan. Tooru does everything she can to repay the debt and help Kobayashi-san with various things.
