Chin Chin Chu, the Chinese kingpin, is on the lookout for a dragon figurine that holds the key to manufacturing an alloy reputed to be stronger than Goemon's Zantatsu Sword. The dragon sculpture is buried in the Titanic's depths. Lupin, Jigen, and Fujiko are asked to steal it by Chin, but Lupin declines and steals it himself, just as his grandfather, Arsene Lupin the 1st, attempted to steal it before the Titanic sank. Goemon and his boyhood buddy Kikyo join forces to ensure the Iga Clan's honor is not tarnished by the dragon's use of evil.
