George and Phinneas, long-time friends, share a duplex in Los Angeles. Mr. Romanovsky, their Russian landlord, lives in the upstairs unit. George's girlfriend Kim and her friend Olivia pay a visit and, after a little of drinking, bring out a Ouija board. Phinneas exhibits strange nocturnal behavior that night. As George continues to explore his friend's behavior, he becomes convinced that his friend has been possessed by an evil force.
