Le Ly resides in a small Vietnamese village whose peace is destroyed if war breaks out. Caught between the Viet Cong and the South Vietnamese armythe village is destroyed. Le Ly resolves to flee, after being raped and brutalized. She leaves to your city, living nevertheless, although living desperate circumstances. Eventually she meets a U.S. Marine called Steve Butler who treats her liberally and informs her he'd love to get married -- maybe into her.
