She called her YouTube video Gray Is The New Blonde in the summer of 2013. As a producer and director, Victoria Marie made the video. Much to her surprise, she got a lot of comments from people who saw the video. In what she said, "I was completely shocked." Who knew that gray hair was such a big deal? He hit a nerve and she wanted to do more, but she was still a few months away from moving across the country to her new home in Los Angeles. It took her a year in LA to figure out that she had to come up with her own material to get noticed in the unforgiving world of the entertainment industry. In that moment, it dawned on her that it was time to take advantage of the growing interest in women with gray hair. Thus, Gray Is The New Blonde was born.
