In the year 2048, the people is forced to leave Earth after years of losing against other critters and Godzilla. They require a twenty-year journey to another planet but upon arrival, they find the globe is now uninhabitable. A man named Haruo spearheads a move to come back to Earth and take it back, as conditions in their ship deteriorate. The ship successfully gets the return voyage, however the team realizes that twenty five thousand years have passed, with Earth's ecosystem with evolved to become centered around Godzilla.
