The day that Elizabeth and her father are scheduled to be evicted, a mysterious letter arrives in the mail informing them that they have inherited Echoville Manor, a large, thirty-seven room estate. Elizabeth and her father can't believe their good fortune when they learn this news. Elizabeth discovers, upon arriving at the home, that it is occupied by the cutest spirit in the world, Ghoster, who has spent the previous fifty years imprisoned inside of a mirrored cell there. They have to work together to figure out the mysteries of Echoville if they want to save Ghoster and prevent the evil Yuto from taking her soul as well in his pursuit of immortality.
