By June 1942, the Japanese Navy has swept over the Pacific. In an effort to change the path of this war, even a United States carrier band is positioned off the coast of mid way, tasked using springing a snare. In this critical struggle, the two man crew of a U.S. Navy Divebomber is made to ditch in the ocean. Set adrift, the men look towards their comrades for saving. Namely, the rag tag crew of a PBY Catalina, that are sent to look for survivors. Amid the vast openness of the Pacific, with the prospect of rescue fading and days, the men have to manage their own mortality.
