America is currently in the middle of the melancholy, and the Kamp family is struggling to get by, notably after Mrs. Kamp's premature departure. Now little Ruthie, with also her dad inundated by physician bills resulting from her brother polio along with her mum, anticipates yet another Christmas without festivities or presents. But when her father lets the kids use it in order to obtain gifts that are exceptional for one another and brings home one dollar in change, the Kamps come to locate that money isn't what miracles, love, and fills xmas with joy.
