Brimstone was a short-lived television series that aired on Fox. The show centered on a deceased police investigator who was tasked with bringing back to Hell 113 ghosts that had found their way to Earth. The series was only broadcast for a portion of one season. Reruns of the television show Brimstone have been shown on Syfy in the United States ever since the show's discontinuation in the summer of 1999. The reruns are broadcast in marathons throughout the channel's seasonal programming, such as "Creatureland," "Inhumanland," and "the 31 Days of Halloween," but there is no predetermined schedule for when they are shown. On July 28, 2007, Chiller also started playing repeats of previous episodes. There is currently no predetermined plan for when it will air; instead, it appears on Syfy and other networks in the form of random weekday marathons.
