Sammy along with shepherding hatchlings Ricky Ray, leatherback turtles and friends for ever, are currently enjoying the water and sand of an atoll along with Ella out to sea. A poacher ships them off and swoops in to be part of a aquarium series for tourists in Dubai. The kingpin of this place enlists them in his plans for a fantastic escape. But using their new friends Jimbo Annabel the Octopus along with Lulu the snippy lobster, the bug-eyed blob fish, and an entire category of penguins, Sammy and Ray hatch break out plans in their own. That is when Ella and Ricky arrive, chose to break into rescue them. After a series of adventures and narrow escapes, our heroes go south to match up with Shelly.
