How much love can a single individual have for another? This is referred to as unrequited love. It is something that begins with a minor reason or event, but develops into something that is extremely difficult to overcome. Although this emotion is one-sided and incomplete, it is free to begin, grow, and cease whenever it pleases. Certain aspects of existence, such as dreams, happiness, and unrequited love, are completely imperceptible. We continue to believe them, however. Even if it is imperfect and one-sided, it motivates us to live another day. Perhaps unrequited love might be viewed in this light as the courage or optimism that we require to grow.
