Overview:
Chad Billingsley is the pride and pleasure of his middle-class family. After a dark period of fearful denial, he confesses to his father, attorney Roger, that Rosalie Frank, the provocatively dressed waitress who attended his frat's last party and has since vanished, had sex with five of them. Roger tries everything he can to avoid his son's future being ruined by a probable statutory rape prosecution, but confides in his moralistic wife, shelter house worker Karen, who, rather than supporting the boys, stalks them like Rosalie's mother Inez, with various fatal consequences.
