Overview:
A civil war broke out from the 1950s between North and South Korea that changed the country. 71: in to the Fire centres on the struggles. Using real individuals and events based on the opening moves of the Battle of P'ohang-dong, the film reveals the physical and personal conflicts why these students faced when finding themselves on the previous line of defense at P'ohang-Daughter Girl's Middle School against the NKPA's advancement, having to hold out before back up from other Korean soldiers and the Allies came back.
